A Dance of Spirit and Bones is a seven-book dark fantasy series about love, loss, and the whims of fate.

It is divided into two trilogies and a novella that serves as a prologue and a bridge between the books. Titled A Whispered Oath, it tells the tale of the cursed Azyliz, who becomes soulbound to the knight Marianne, who was sent to kill him. 

The first trilogy starts with the book A Violet Moon, which tells the story of Avaerin, Simaria, and Maeriya and takes place before the events of A Whispered Oath.
